How to implement Spatial Index in SQL Server?

Any one has an idea?

How should I implement R-Tree spatial index in SQL Server?

My idea now is to create UDT for my spacial coordinate and then I need the index on that UDT. How should I start?

This implimentation lloks perfect for the larger datasets we expect to meet. I cannot find the download sample though - any clues?|||?
